Admirals Media Limited commenced operations in Malta as a Partner Company with Swedish gaming software company Boss Media AB. Admirals Media Limited is a Licensee Intermediary under Gaming License LGACL3 from the Gaming and Lottery Authority (GLA) of Malta. This interim arrangement will remain in force while Admirals Media Limited completes the rigorous probity process for the issuance of a Class 3 Gaming License by the GLA. Admirals Media Limited has appointed BDO Attard Buttigieg and Co as auditors for its European operations.

Admirals Group has been granted a further five year term to manage gaming operations onboard the TT-Line ships, Spirit of Tasmania I and Spirit of Tasmania II. TT-Line is wholly owned by the State Government of Tasmania and Admirals is contracted under a Gaming Management Agreement, appointed in accordance with the TT-Line Gaming Act 1993 and approved and supervised by the Tasmanian Gaming Commission. Admirals Group has operated gaming on state-owned shipping between Melbourne and Devonport since 1993.

Admirals Group has been requested by the Hon. Tuila’epa Lupesoliai Malielegaoi, the Prime Minister of Samoa, to submit a formal application to the TAB, the lottery licensing authority, for the establishment of the Samoa National Lotteries. Beneficiaries of the national lotteries will be the Samoa Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (SASNOC) and education and health services in Samoa. Extensive research has been conducted over the past two years and appropriate game products and important harm minimization strategies have been formulated and documented. Should the application to the TAB be successful, Admirals Group envisages a commencement of operations early in 2008.
